President Elect Beth Naughton brought the meeting to order at 12:12pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Fifteen Rotarians were in attendance plus 3 on zoom. Guests: Abigail from the Leader, student reps from Lake Mills HS, rep from Findorff Construction plus 4 student Rotarians were also in attendance.

Speaker/Presentation:
Dr. Tonya Olson, Superintendent of the Lake Mills School District along with 3 student reps and Project Manager Aaron Kutz presented updates for the construction of the elementary, middle, high schools and bus barn in Lake Mills.
Elementary school is on schedule and on budget. Project will be done at the end of the summer. Addition is on the front of the school. Working on plumbing, electrical, etc. then concrete slab will be poured. 4K and early childhood will have new furniture and each room will be different. Play based curriculum. Promote social and emotional learning. Students and teachers will move each quarter into new room to experience all the different play sets.
Middle school has completed bids. Design is complete. Mostly capital maintenance (electrical, HVAC). Bulk of project will be in the library and office. New furniture will also be purchased.
High school design is complete and incoming bids on budget. Will be tearing down old bus barn and existing gym. Capital maintenance, addition to gym, locker room renovations. Received bids in December and materials have been ordered. Cafeteria and main entrance will be completed in 2027. The new bus barn broke ground last summer. Barn is located on Highway 89 north of Lake Mills. It will have 19 bays, concrete floor, 4 offices and a wash bay. End of school year will be a wall smashing.

Lakeside Lutheran HS boys basketball has completed their season. Lake Mills HS boys basketball will go to sectionals this Thursday playing Luther Prep at Watertown High School.
