President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:20pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Eighteen Rotarians were in attendance plus three Rotarians on Zoom. Six student Rotarians were also in attendance along with teachers of the month and their guests.
Clara and Brianna (Lake Mills HS) recited their 4 way test. Kimberly and Natalie (Lake Mills HS) and Emma and Elizabeth (Lakeside Lutheran HS) gave their fun fact.

- Sustainability: Briefly explain how this project continues after the initial launch.
4. The Ask & Conclusion (3:30–5:00)
- The Budget/Ask: State exactly how much funding or resources are needed.
- Use of Funds: Explain exactly where the money goes.
- Call to Action/Closing: End with a strong, memorable statement that inspires action.
5. Presentation Delivery Tips
- Visual Aid: Use a simple slide deck, a prop, or a prototype.
- Teamwork: Ensure smooth handoffs if presenting with a team.
- Confidence: Maintain eye contact and use passionate, clear speech.
- Q & A Prep: Be ready to answer: Why you? Why now? Why Rotary?
- Target Timing: 4 minutes 30 seconds (leaving 30 seconds for unexpected pauses/transitions).

- Thank you to all who volunteered, brought snacks and food, set up and take down, supervise students. Thanks to Amy who purchased paper goods and snacks. Thanks to John who provided a vege tray and helped pay for subs and also was the drop off point for food. Officer Jessica Johnson provided stickers.

- Wednesday, May 13 @ 6pm: Social bike ride. 7 mile loop around Rock Lake. Begin and end at Sunshine Brewery. More information will be available in the meeting reminder email. Hoping to have a social bike ride once per month. Make sure to get a trail pass.
Credit card machine is available to pay dues/meals. Dues/meals need to be paid before the end of June.
