President Anita Martin brought the meeting to order at 12:15pm. Pledge of Allegiance and 4 Way Test recited. Twenty two Rotarians were in attendance plus one guest (Randy Otto). Two student Rotarians were also in attendance.

Wednesday, May 13 @ 6pm: Social bike ride, a seven mile loop around Rock Lake. Ride will begin and end at Sunshine Brewery. More information is in the May 5 minutes.
Credit card machine is available to pay dues/meals. Dues/meals need to be paid before the end of June.

Thank you to the scholarship committee for all their work on the review of the scholarship applications. 9 Lake Mills HS students and 1 Lakeside Lutheran HS student received a scholarship. Total scholarships given out were $14,000. Scholarship recipients and families are invited to the June 2nd meeting to be recognized.
Mary Ann Jackson gave her introductory speech. She is happy to be a Rotarian. Mary Ann and her husband have 5 adult kids. Moved to Lake Mills 27 years ago. Mary Ann has her Master’s in Adult Education. Volunteers for Rainbow Hospice, Rock Lake Improvement, and Meals on Wheels. She invited everyone to go to the fish hatchery on May 28th at 10:30am for a great tour.
Thank you to Tonya for taking and bringing back the RYLA students. They will give a presentation next week.
Ed mentioned that the solar project in India is now complete. Pictures will be available on the Rotary website.
Thank you to the Lake Mills HS Show Choir for their great performance today. They will have a Show Choir Showcase on Saturday, May 16th beginning at 7:00pm at the high school.
There will also be a band/orchestra performance this Thursday.
Guest Rotarian Randy Otto mentioned that the Oconomowoc Rotary had yard signs made that noted projects that Rotary has done in the community. Great way to promote Rotary.
