We reviewed the list of Run Sponsors that we have NOT received replies from or have yet to be contacted, and reviewed who will contact folks.
By end of May, we want all run sponsors ready to be confirmed. Rotarians interested in becoming run sponsors can reach out or fill out the form. All run sponsors known have been added to the Pyramid City Run website
May/June get the word out. Farmer’s Market, sponsors and bookmarks, etc.
May: Permit. Will? Change anything about the run? Keep same route. Walk to the library for inspirational words, then walk to the regular start?
Zach wrote a press release about the Pyramid City Run and will send it to the District.
June: posters, T-shirt design. Will Include picture of Library on T-shirt. Gerard says go with the front view of the library to keep it easy.
Discussed the concession stand. Volunteering as well as issues re: getting the money and closing. Night meeting to volunteer for one night at concession stand. May or may not be a regular night meeting. Will determine date when schedule is available
Discussed August garbage pickup. May change date.
Fellowship: Going to start a biking fellowship. First event was May 13th at 6PM. Social ride 7 miles. Lake loop. Social at Sunshine afterward! Once per month.
Noon: Community project: May 26th at noon meeting Shark Tank will be done. Bring ideas of community projects. Beth says to bring ideas! If planning on presenting an idea at the May 26th meeting, reserve your spot by May 20th. Much appreciated.
